Why E-Liquid May Get Into Your Mouth Often
Ask any vaper how they feel when they are using their device and they will tell you that the experience is glorious. Ask them again what it is like to have e-liquid in the mouth and this time round the verdict will be that it is something they never wish to experience again.
Even the most experienced e-cig user will once in a while get e-juice in their mouth as they vape so this experience is not a preserve of the newbie alone. The following are some reasons why it may be inevitable to have e-liquid get into your mouth from time to time.
Each time electronic liquid becomes vaporized there is condensation that takes place inside the mouthpiece and the airway. After some time, this may make it difficult for the coil to heat the e-juice that comes in and the result will be that you will draw e-liquid into the mouth.
You can prevent this problem by regularly cleaning out the airway and mouthpiece so that the condensation does not build up to problematic levels.
It Gets Into The Air-hole.
The airway must always be free from e-liquid. Unfortunately, many people are not careful enough when refilling their devices and they end up having e-juice getting into the central column. This e-liquid will definitely get into your mouth when that happens.
To prevent this eventuality, refill your clearomizer when it is tilted at an angle so that the central column remains clear. An alternative method is to use a drip needle as this makes for more accuracy in the refilling process. There will be no e-juice getting into the airway and that will save you from having e-juice in your mouth when you take a draw.
The Coil Is Flooded.
When the coil in your clearomizer is filled beyond the level where it should be, it will be hard for the coil to vaporize all the e-liquid in there. The result is that yet more e-liquid will be sucked into the coil and that will stall the vaporization process.
The end result will be that you will suck the e-juice into your mouth and that is not a good thing when your mind was primed to receive vapour in the mouth.
To prevent this from happening, ensure that your device is properly cleaned so that the airway is clear at all times. The other thing you can do is to avoid overfilling the tank as you top up on the e-liquid. When you do this, cases of a flooded coil will become history.
There are times when e-liquid will get into your mouth when your device has just become less efficient and needs replacing. If you notice that you are getting e-liquid in your mouth very frequently despite taking the precautions given above, then it is time to change parts of your device.
Otherwise, the first things you should suspect as being responsible for making e-juice and not vapour get into your mouth are the factors that have been discussed above.
